Raymond Alvin Lancey, Sr., 76, of Belle, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at the SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.

He was born Oct. 17, 1947, to Charles Ernest and Francis Louis (St. John) Lancey in Keene, N.H.

Raymond proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army.

He was united in marriage to Mary Secore, July 1969, at the St. James Episcopal Church in Keene, N.H. 

Raymond worked as a truck driver and did construction for over 40 years in New Hampshire before retiring and moving to Missouri.

He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Francis; siblings, Charles, Jr., Clarence, Warren, Douglas, Robert, Arthur, and Elaine.

Raymond is survived by wife, Mary of their home in Belle; children, Lori Chambers and husband John of Belle, Raymond Lancey, Jr. and wife Michelle of Big Cabin, Okla., and Scott Lancey and wife Megan of Walpole, N.H.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Marie Ouellette of Sullivan, N.H.

In keeping with Raymonds wishes, he was cremated and no services are planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sassmann’s Chapel, Belle.
