Paul Ervin Schneider, 71, Eldon, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024, at the University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born Feb. 16, 1953, to Ervin and Alice (Eggert) Schneider in Owensville.
He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Sawyer Jan. 27, 1973, at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Owensville.
Paul was a member of St. Peter’s in Owensville. He enjoyed fishing, spending time working on lawn mowers and tractors and visiting with friends. His dogs were a special part of his life.
Paul was preceded in death by wife, Mary Jane; parents, Ervin and Alice; sister, Irene Sickendick; and granddaughter, Allison Schneider.
He is survived by sons, Randy Schneider and wife Angela of Gerald and Rusty Schneider and wife Melissa of Eldon; sister, Dorothy Clarkson and husband Phil of Union; grandchildren, Brook Barnwell and husband Daniel, Hailey, Benjamin, Jaxson, Star and Michael Schneider; and first great-grandchild on the way.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
