Nicholas James Lenauer, 43, of Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at Belle.
He was born Jan. 1, 1981, to Mark and Judy (Lairmore) Lenauer in Washington.
Nicholas was a graduate of Owensville High School and of Missouri State University with a degree in Industrial Management. He enjoyed playing poker, fishing, building things, playing video games, being around family, especially his beloved niece and nephews that adored him and time with his dog, Luna. He was a tech genius. He was the one to call for any technological needs and he would be there to help.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, James “Dud” and Loretta Lairmore.
He is survived by mother, Judy Lairmore of Belle; father, Mark Lenauer of Owensville; grandparents, Don and Mary Jo Lenauer of Owensville; siblings, Daniel Lenauer and wife Tina, Lindsay Thompson and husband Phillip, and Angela Decker and husband Brian all of Owensville; and by nieces and nephews, Cody, Brandon and Everly Lenauer, Halle and Ellah Thompson and Carson, Blaire and Abel Decker.
A private graveside service was held at Owensville City Cemetery with Fr. Wayne Boyer and Dan Lenauer officiating.
