Lloyd Dale Fleer, 87, of Stony Hill, passed away Friday, Aug. 9. 2024, at New Haven Care Center.
He was born in Hermann, Oct. 1, 1936, the son of the late Albert William and Maudeline Alice (Weeks) Fleer. He attended Richwood Grade School in Stony Hill and graduated from New Haven High School.
Lloyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for six years. He was in infantry and served in Hawaii.
Lloyd was a member of St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill. He worked as a maintenance man for Hermann Area District Hospital for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by parents, Albert and Maudeline; step-mother, Mildred Fleer,; half-brother, George Fleer and wife Mary; half-sister, Alice Power; and brother-in-law, Guy McRoberts.
Lloyd is survived by brother, Earl Fleer of Stony Hill; sister, Jeanette McRoberts of Union; and many nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held at St. James Cemetery, Stony Hill, with Rev. Tom Lloyd officiating.
Memorials may be given to St. James Cemetery.
