Owensville High School FFA members on Sept. 13 went to Sullivan High School for the Area XIV FFA Greenhand Conference and FFA Rituals contest.
This was a learning experience for the chapter Greenhands. They had a trivia competition and Owensville’s Greenhands won. This activity also taught them team bonding skills and helped them meet new people from the Area XIV Association. The Greenhands went over opening ceremonies and learned how to run a meeting.
Owensville FFA chapter officers competed in the rituals contest, performing opening and closing FFA ceremonies. They did this while the Greenhands were having their conference. The officer team had a fantastic time and interacted with other FFA chapters.
