The old Quikorner gas station and convenience store closed June 18 to allow for construction to be completed for a new facility. Since that time, residents have not been able to purchase gasoline in town. The gas drought ended Monday when Jack Flash opened its doors — and gas pumps. Even in the middle of a Monday afternoon, the new business had plenty of customers. With added gas pumps and expanded inventory in the store, everyone seems happy with the new facility. The new phone number for Jack Flash is 314-417-5050. The store is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
