Resetting a headstone at Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery south of Owensville on Sept. 16 were Knights of Columbus members (left photo, from left) Steve Hobein, Lou Raineri Jr., Leon Scego (on excavator) Matthew Scego and Gene Menz. Menz and Jerry Shoemaker (center left photo) dig out one of 12 headstones for leveling. Also working at IC cemetery were Mike Feagan, Tom Bolte, Nick Scego, Archie Goggin and Adam Menz. On Sept. 14 a group from the Franklin County Cemetery Society joined members of the Red Oak Cemetery south of Rosebud for repairs at that cemetery. Volunteering their time at Red Oak were (below, from left) Vince Saporita, Mark Ehlert, Bob Scott, Walter Woronoa, Bob Bader, Kathy Farrar and Tim Ogle. Scott and Bader (bottom right) apply glue to reset a headstone.
